Quality Replacement Needle Roller Bearings
Needle Roller Bearings
Featuring a high load carrying capacity, needle roller bearings use long thin rollers - known as bearing needles - as their rolling element. The inner and outer rings of the bearings can be loaded separately, facilitating simpler installation. They can also be used without inner rings in applications where space is at a premium.
At Simply Bearings we stock several different designs, both with and without inner rings. They are usually supplied as the bearing rings together with the rollers and a cage to form a complete unit. Other than for very small needle roller bearings, they usually have lubricating holes in the outer ring and a lubricating groove to ensure effective, reliable operation.
This type of bearing is also available in a sealed design to keep out foreign matter and to retain lubricants. The seal material can withstand a wide range of operating temperatures, making this type suitable for use in harsh environments.
We can supply complete cage assemblies - where the needle rollers are loose and retained just by the cage in the simplest design - and drawn cup bearings that have an outer ring to retain the needle rollers. We offer budget types in addition to bearings from major brands including SKF, IKO and INA, ensuring you can buy with confidence; in addition, all our bearings are covered by our 100 per cent no-quibble guarantee.
A range of cam followers are also available. These have a thicker outer ring and are used in applications such as guide tracks where there is a need to withstand shock loads and high radial forces. These come in several different designs and thread sizes, all with lubrication holes in their outer rings for ease of maintenance.
