Web Content Administrator

Who are we?

Simply Bearings Ltd, is the first company to sell bearings, oil seals and power transmission products online in the UK launching their presence in 2004. We are a fast expanding e-commerce retailer who require a Web Content Administrator to join our growing team.

What we are looking for?

An enthusiastic and motivated individual with a desire to develop their skills. You should be highly computer literate with an analytical mind and have excellent communication skills. Working as part of the IT team your prime role will be to list new products using Microsoft Excel, write appropriate descriptions of the products, photograph new stock as it arrives, update pricing from manufacturers’ price lists and publish to the web thereafter.

Key Skills we are looking for:

Attention to detail is key to ensure 100% accuracy on product listings. A passion for ecommerce and desire to learn how to optimise product titles, search terms, categories etc. An ability to work as part of a team whilst working individually is essential.

Hours of Work/Pay

Monday - Friday 8.00 - 17.00 (with a 1 Hour Lunch Break) Wage depending on experience.

Required experience:

  • Using Photoshop / Fireworks: 1 year
  • Website Maintenance: 1 Year
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel
  • Desired skills:

  • Managing Social Media Pages
  • Photography / Videography
  • Copy Writing
  • A good understanding of HTML

    Warehouse Operative

    We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work within our dispatch area for an immediate start. On occasions you will be required to work within the warehouse picking orders and checking various items.

    The duties include:
  • Measuring items to ensure they match the customers invoice.
  • Inputting information onto a computer.
  • Using various postal methods to ship items world wide.
  • Picking Items from the warehouse.
  • Dispatching a high volume of orders daily.
  • Using FedEx/Royal Mail & UPS.
  • You must have the following:
  • Be computer literate.
  • A good understanding of basic maths.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Be able to work within a small team.
  • Physically fit.

    Salary:

    Minimum wage - reviewed after 6 months probation.
