Einhell Chainsaw Parts

When you're ordering new Einhell chainsaw parts, you'll need to check the chain size against the Einhell chainsaw spares page to confirm that you're buying the correct size.

Bar, Drive Link and Pitch Sizes for Einhell Chainsaw Chains

The chain pitch is 3/8 inch on all of these chains - that's the distance between the drive links. For chainsaw chains in general, 3/8 inch is the commonest pitch. There are also different drive link numbers for the different sizes of chain. The number of drive links determines the length of the chain. Drive links are given below, and you can also filter on the Einhell product page by bar length and by the number of drive links.

With Einhell chainsaw spares, the number that follows the ?CH inch refers to the number of drive links the product has. So bear in mind that there are different numbers of drive links for most of the bar lengths. Just check your current chain to see how many it has.

The Einhell products include:

Chains to fit 30cm (12 inch) Bar chainsaws: Einhell CH044, CH045 Chains to fit 35cm (14 inch) Bar chainsaws: Einhell CH049, CH052, CH053 Chains to fit 40cm (16 inch) Bar chainsaws: Einhell CH055, CHO56, CH057 Chains to fit 45cm (17-18 inch) Bar chainsaws: Einhell CH060

Safe Use of Einhell Chainsaw Chains

A chainsaw is a highly effective piece of equipment, excellent at splitting logs and preparing firewood as well as dealing with trees, bushes and shrubs that need cutting back. However, it can be dangerous if the proper precautions are not taken. So always read the product guide and follow the safe operating instructions.

It's also essential to use safety equipment to protect yourself in the event of an accident. Chainsaws are noisy and flying debris can injure eyes, while branches can fall on your head. We have an integrated chain saw helmet with visor and ear defenders in our safety section - definitely worth looking at.

If you are right-handed, your left hand is most likely to sustain an injury if the chain saw moves suddenly in an uncontrolled manner. So we stock special chainsaw gloves, made of top-quality leather and with a reinforced area on the vulnerable left hand.

We have chainsaw chaps too for protecting your limbs - they're unisex and one size but very adjustable and provide safe and comfortable working gear.
