Bar, pitch and drive link sizes for Hurricane chainsaw chains

A 3/8 inch pitch is the commonest one found on chainsaw chains. This is also true of Hurricane chains, with the pitch being the length between the drive links. The length of the chain is directly tied to the number of drive links; however, note that these can vary, even when you are looking at chains with the same bar size.

Be careful to check the product details; for example, Hurricane has one chain for a 35cm bar that has 49 drive links, another chain for a 35cm bar that has 52 links, and a third that has 53 links. Getting the wrong number of links can lead to the chain not driving properly, which can be dangerous. The number after the 'CH' in the title of the product tells you the number of drive links in the chain.
