Replacement Ryobi chainsaw chains

The usual pitch size for chains is ⅜ inch - the pitch is the measurement between the drive links. The chain length is calculated from the number of links. Note that this number can vary, even with the same size bar, so make sure that you not only have the chain for the correct bar length but also one with the right number of links.

This is important, as a chain with the wrong number of links won't work as well and could even fail. The product references help in that the number given after the 'CH' or 'BC' is the number of links; for example, the Ryobi 40cm chains come with 55, 56, 57 or 66 links. This is a significant difference, so be sure to check the products that each chain is designed to fit.
