Support Needle Rollers With and Without Cages

We stock the NATR series of support rollers with axial guidance. These rollers incorporate a needle roller cage setup which allows for relatively high operating speeds. Pressed-on side washers guide the outer ring, which is designed to be thick enough to cope with shock loads and heavy loads. The side washers also act as gap seals for the outer ring.

NATV needle roller bearings have much the same design but don't have a cage and have a full complement needle roller assembly set-up. The lack of cage means that the maximum number of rollers can be fitted. This enables very high loads to be dealt with at fairly high speeds. Note that these rollers will require frequent relubrication.

Thrust Loads With Angular Contact - NKIA and NKIB

Where these type of loads need to be accommodated in one direction only, the combined needle roller and angular contact from NKIA are easy to mount because they come with an inner ring which can be separated. They have a lubrication groove in the outer ring.

Machined Type

We stock a large variety of machined type needle roller bearings. For example, the NK bearings, some of which have retaining flanges in the outer ring. A shaft sleeve is supplied with them. The larger bearings in this series have an annular lubrication groove.

These bearings are also available without flanges and without a shaft sleeve, and both imperial and metric types are stocked.

Needle Roller and Ball Thrust Combinations

The Budget NX Series of needle roller bearings has a non separating design and is easy to mount. The bearing has a perforated cover which is joined to the housing washer. This covers the needle roller bearing outer ring and makes these needle rollers well suited to oil lubrication. The cover allows the oil to circulate through the circumference holes. As well as radial loads, these bearings can deal with heavy one direction thrust loads, at fairly high speeds.
