Rod end bearings can be found in use in a wide variety of applications. In the automotive sector, for example, they're used in things like throttle, steering and gear linkages. They can also be found in the aeronautical industry, marine applications and in any type of machinery where a precision joint with articulation is required.
At Simply Bearings, we stock a range of different rod end types in a choice of materials and lining types. Our steel male rod ends, for example, come in both left and right hand thread, in a range of metric and imperial sizes. They have a body of mild steel with a hardened chrome steel ball running in a raceway of phosphor bronze. We can also supply nylon, polyurethane and PTFE lined types, if preferred.
Alternatively, we can supply stainless steel male rod ends, either nylon or PTFE lined. These are low maintenance and self-lubricating. They're suitable for many light to medium industrial applications where low-friction and good wear resistance are needed.
For lightweight, dry operation situations, we also offer plastic male rod ends. Again, these come in right or left threads and they are tolerant of dirt, dust and lint, as well as being resistant to chemicals. Plastic rod ends have high dampening qualities too.
Ordering is straightforward - just select the thread type and size, along with the internal diameter, from the drop-down menus at the top of the web page. If you need any help, our friendly, professional customer services team is only ever a phone call away.
As always at Simply Bearings, we'll ship your order the same day if you place it before 4pm, and second class postal delivery is free of charge. If you want faster delivery of your rod ends, by first class post or courier, just select the option at the checkout, and the cost will be calculated for you. We're happy to supply customers at home in the UK or overseas.
