INA Plummer Block Housing Units: Supplied with a fully sealed bearing insert fitted in the housing with an eccentric locking collar. This cast iron housing is a single-piece unit with a high load carrying capacity and features a lubrication groove to facilitate relubrication of the bearing insert. This plummer block housing has a long base and is screw mounted to the adjacent construction by means of slots. Due to the spherical outside surface of the bearing outer ring and the concave housing bore, the unit can compensate for static angular misalignment of the shaft of up to 5 degrees if relubrication is not carried out and 2.5 degrees if relubrication is carried out. The housing and insert bearings have a Corrotect® coating which makes them suitable for use if moisture, contaminated water, salt spray mist, weakly alkaline or weakly acidic cleaning agents are present.
