There are a variety of V belts available; however, the classic V belts are most commonly used, as they have a universal profile suitable for a range of manufacturing environments. Simply Bearings stocks a number of different versions, including the B section V belts.
This type of V belt is generally used within industrial drives and is particularly common in applications in which a reverse idler is necessary due to the thinness of its profile. B section V belts are designed to be oil, anti-static and heat resistant and can operate in a wide range of temperatures - from 20°C up to 70°C.
