At Simply Bearings we offer a range of oil filled bronze products, including oil filled bronze washers in packs of five, 10, 50, 100 and 500. Oil filled bronze is made by a process called sintering. Bronze, graphite and other metallic powders are used to form the bronze, which is porous. It is then impregnated with lubricating oil, which fills the pores. The oil filled bronze washers produced by this process have several advantages and can be used in a wide range of applications; for example, they can be used in applications that will be exposed to extremely high or low temperatures or corrosive environments. They are noiseless, low maintenance, self-lubricating, and relatively inexpensive.
