Nitrile rubber seals act as a crucial barrier between the bearing position and contaminants/spray water. They also prevent grease and lubricant being lost from within and allow for high-circumferential speeds. They can be used at temperatures from as low as -30c all the way up to 110c and are compatible with shaft diameters from 8mm to 80mm. These nitrile rubber seals have a steel reinforcement which helps to stiffen the ring, enhancing durability. Nitrile rubber seals have good tensile strength, anti-abrasion properties, resistance to some acids and alkalis, and some flame retardancy.
