These bearing seals are ideal when the bearing has no seal or shield, and they help to keep dust, debris, dirt and other forms of abrasive contaminants away from the bearing itself. With a Nilos ring seal you can help improve the operating efficiency of the bearing, even when it is used in the most demanding of environments. The bearing seals that we have in stock at Simply Bearings have been manufactured to provide high levels of durability. Typically, they are produced from galvanised steel, which results in an extremely strong and robust structure.
Nilos rings can be used with a variety of different bearings in both single- and double-row versions. This includes deep groove ball bearings, magneto bearings, taper roller bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, spherical roller bearings and four-point contact ball bearings.
When a Nilos ring seal is being installed, it must be of the right dimensions to ensure that it completely encloses the bearing's open area.
