SKF PTFE Polyamide bushings are designed for applications where other polymer bushings have shown insufficient operating life. The small wall thickness of these bushings ensures good heat conducting characteristics, enabling high sliding velocities. SKF offers a standard assortment of both plain and flanged cylindrical bushings according to ISO 3547 and DIN 1494. SKF PTFE Polyamide comprises a thermoplastic base material, with both PTFE additives and glass-fiber. The material mix of SKF PTFE Polyamide bushings results in self-lubricating low wear performance and, in many applications, adequate load capacity.
