NAK TA Nitrile Oil Seals: Oil seals are used in a variety of different applications in which a rotating shaft is lubricated by oil or grease. They are engineered to facilitate the smooth operation of your equipment, serving as a barrier to prevent the leakage of oils and greases while also keeping foreign substances from entering. TA type seals are particularly suitable for larger diameters or when the seal is fitted from behind. These seals feature a metal-cased outside diameter as well as an additional inner case which provides increased structural integrity when a more robust design is required. The TA types feature a sealing nitrile rubber lip on the inside diameter as well as an external dust lip. The TA types feature a garter spring which allows some give to prevent a build-up of friction. (Seals under 5mm width may not always feature a spring.) Benefits: Excellent wear resistance, good running properties, high resistance to chemicals and petroleum-based fuels including petrol, diesel and LPG.
