NAK VA - Section FKM V-Rings: V-Seals can protect the ingress of dirt, dust and water in the application. The V-seal is made entirely of rubber and therefore can be stretched over fittings, flanges, bearings, couplings, keys etc. They comprise of a body and a conical lip joined to the body. It is mounted on and rotates with the shaft. The lip of the seal fixes against a stationary counter-face, such as a housing, bearing, washer or oil seal. The VA type is one of the most commonly used v-rings, it has a perpendicular rear face and is ideal for conveyor appliances.
