NAK VS - Section FKM V-Rings: V-Seals can protect the ingress of dirt, dust and water in the application. The V-seal is made entirely of rubber and therefore can be stretched over fittings, flanges, bearings, couplings, keys etc. They comprise of a body and a conical lip joined to the body. It is mounted on and rotates with the shaft. The lip of the seal fixes against a stationary counter-face, such as a housing, bearing, washer or oil seal. The VS type has a better fitting on the shaft due to larger fitted width. The wide body of the VS types ensures higher radial fitting force and the design secures the seal axially and radially at high speeds. These types are commonly used in automotive and agriculture applications.
