MP Series Stainless Steel Nylon Lined Maintenance Free Male Rod Ends: These stainless steel MP series are classed as maintenance free rod end bearings. They are self-lubricating general purpose male rod ends suitable for light to medium heavy industrial/mechanical load applications requiring low friction and good wear resistance, available in both metric and imperial bore and thread sizes. They have excellent moisture resistance and require no maintenance. These bearings will eventually corrode in a marine environment and it is recommended to completely cover with grease or similar protection where practical. Materials: Housing: Steel 230M07PB zinc plated white and blue passivate (silver/clear) and stainless steel 303L. Race: GR-nylon LV-3H. Ball: Bearing steel 100Cr6, case hardened and electroless nickel plated and stainless steel 440C and SAE660. Operating Temperature Range: Operating temperature range -30c to +170c Benefits: Low friction, self-lubricating, good wear resistance, excellent moisture resistance. Note: Due to the material requirements of these bearings to have a hard-wearing construction, they will be made of a harder form of Stainless Steel, such as 440 or similar, which will be attracted by magnets.
