Flanged Deep Groove Ball Bearings

Simply Bearings is one of the major online suppliers of all types of bearings and accessories in the UK. Our range is comprehensive and competitively priced, with volume discounts available for customers placing larger orders.

Our flanged deep groove ball bearings are made to the same sizes as standard bearings and have metal shields fitted. They also have a flange, which allows flush fitting into housings up to the flange shoulder. This type of bearing is often used on steel tracks to act as both a guide and a support. The shields provide protection to prevent debris and dust getting into the bearing, while at the same time retaining the grease to ensure good lubrication and a long service life.

We also supply a number of variations, including a rubber sealed deep grooved bearing suitable for light and heavy industrial use and for agricultural and automotive applications. These come in a wide range of sizes. Thin section shielded bearings are also available for applications that require them. In addition to shielded bearings, we can offer open deep groove bearings manufactured in stainless steel for higher corrosion resistance over standard chrome steel bearings. For any type of bearing used in marine applications, a complete covering of grease or similar is recommended for protection.

Our bearings come from a number of major manufacturers and we can also supply all the tools and lubricants you need to work with them. We are happy to supply both large and small orders, and standard UK shipping is free of charge. If you need faster delivery or shipping to an overseas destination, call our team for a quotation.

You can order all your bearing needs directly from our secure ecommerce website. This allows you to search by size - there is guidance on how to measure your existing bearings available - or go straight to the part number of the bearing you want if you have this to hand. Should you need extra advice or want to order a specialist option, such as non-magnetic bearings, give our expert team a call to discuss your requirements.
