FKM V-rings are used in a variety of different applications. They fit directly onto a shaft and seal it against another surface such as a collar or cylinder. They are made up of a single moulded body and a conical lip. The V-Ring is mounted on and rotates with the shaft, with the lip providing a seal against the housing or bearing. The body is held in position by its tight grip around the shaft, which also serves to provide a seal against the shaft.
