Stainless Steel Flanged Deep Groove Ball Bearings: Manufactured in stainless steel to the same principal sizes as standard chrome steel bearings. They have an additional flange to allow fitting into housings flush against the shoulder of the flange. They are often used on steel tracks as guides and supports

Note: These bearings will eventually corrode in a marine environment and it is recommended to completely cover with grease or similar protection where practical. Due to the material requirements of these bearings to have a hard-wearing construction, they will be made of a harder form of Stainless Steel, such as 440 or similar, which will be attracted by magnets.
