L- Section V-Rings - FKM Rubber L-Section V rings are manufactured in sizes from 140mm - 450mm and is a special thin profile and unlike oil seals don't have a rigid steel shell, V-rings are made completely of rubber and therefore can be stretched over fittings, flanges, bearings, couplings, keys etc. They comprise of a single molded body and conical lip. The 'V'-Ring is mounted on and rotates with the shaft, with the lip sealing against the housing or bearing, the body being held in position by its tight grip around the shaft also serving to seal against the shaft.
