When it comes to light or medium engineering applications, these 3 or 4 bolt pressed steel round housings are just the job - simple to fit and economical. Made from durable and very hard wearing galvanised steel, the surface has a coating of zinc which prevents the steel beneath from corroding.

Whether you're working with timber or with sheet metal structures, the housings can be bolted on directly. They all come supplied with a sealed bearing insert which can be fitted to the shaft with the supplied grub screws. Once the housing and insert are assembled and they've been secured against the shaft, the bearing retains rigidity within the housing. Inserts can be separately ordered if you require replacements.

Sizes Available

The size range for the internal diameter of the housings is between 12mm and 50mm, or in imperial measurement, ?" to 1 5/8". The four bolt pressed steel round block housing bearings are for bearings that are larger than 1 ?" or 40mm.

Inserts with Eccentric Collars

These pressed steel round housing units can also be bought with an eccentric collar insert. This bearing has grub screws for tightening the housing against the shaft. Again, if you need replacements, the eccentric collar inserts can be ordered separately.
