Industry Standard Grade 100 316 Stainless Ball Bearings: High Quality Graded 316 Stainless Steel Ball bearings made from AISI 316 Stainless Steel with a hardness of 25 - 39 Rockwell Scale equivalent to 140 - 160 HB (Brinnel Scale). These are the same stainless 316 steel balls used to manufacture bearing assemblies and have a high duty and life cycle. Unhardened austenitic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance to sea water, dilute nitric, sulphuric and acetic acids, photo chemicals, inks, bleaches, dyes etc. Can be machined / drilled Manufactured in compliance to the following international standards: AISI 316 / AFN Z6CND17-11 / DIN X5 Cr Ni Mo 17122 / JIS SUS 316 / Wks 1.4401
Brand / Quality: Simply Ital Ball - High Quality Ball Diameter: 63.50mm = 2-1/2 inch Grade: 1000
316 Stainless Steel
Min crush load
Can be Drilled
Attracted to Magnets
These stainless steel balls are made from AISI 316 Stainless Steel.
Un-hardened but consistently hard all the way through the ball to achieve maximum strength and quality.
Ball hardness is controlled within the 25 - 39 HRC range as measured on parallel flat surfaces.
Ball grades are defined numerically 50 - 1000 (50 being highest quality available in 316 stainless, 1000 is the lowest)
316 Stainless balls are NOT attracted to magnet but may show response to magnets after cold working.
