We sell a wide range of steel / steel plain female rod ends. These are steel / steel plain female rod end bearings which require some maintenance. They consist of sliding surfaces - steel against steel - and so require re-lubrication at regular intervals. Some models have a dedicated lubrication point such as a lubrication hole or a grease nipple, while other models need lubrication from the sides of the ball. All of our steel / steel female rod ends are cleanable.

These steel / steel plain female rod ends are suitable for heavy static or alternating loads, and for shock loads. They are made of heat treatable C45V steel and will operate within a temperature range of -50C to 200C.

SKF bearings are high quality bearings from an internationally renowned manufacturer. These bearings are available in both right and left handed thread directions (the left hand threaded versions are marked with an L to avoid confusion).
